Redmond is a primarily suburban residential city on the Eastside. As the home of Microsoft, Redmond has become the high tech center of the region. However, business is not the only bottomline in the community. It is also known as the "Bicycle Capital of the Northwest" with an annual bike race on the city streets and the state's only velodrome.
