Snohomish is a city north of Lake Washington in Snohomish County. The community prides itself on its historical downtown and is considered the "Antique Capital" of the northwest. Strolling down First Street, you'll come across galleries, cafes, bookstores, and live music. There are also plenty of opportunities for recreation with the Heirman Wildlife Preserve and the Centennial Trail along the Snohomish River. The beautiful historic homes in the downtown are a draw for history buffs, and there also are a range of single family residential neighborhoods nearby. Especially convenient for Boeing employees in nearby Everett, and less an hour to Seattle or the Eastside, the Snohomish area offers a small-town feel with quick access to city amenities.
